Product Application Guide

For you to use as guidance when applying our products.

GEL POLISH COLOUR APPLICATION

STEP #1: NAIL PREP • Sanitise your own and your customer’s hands. • Push back and trim excess cuticles. Make sure the nail plate is free of any remaining over growth of cuticle• File nails into shape using a fine 240 grit file. • Gently buff nails using a 100/180 grit Buffer to remove any shine. • Dehydrate and cleanse the nail plate using 100% pure acetone. No prepared wipes or scrub-fresh solutions. They contain oils which may cause lifting.

STEP #2: BASE COAT • Apply a thin and precise layer of 2in1 Base Coat, French Rubber Base or Rubber Base Coat taking care to keep the product off the skin.• Seal the free edge. • Cure 30 seconds LED ,2 minutes UV. If the customer experiences a ‘heat spike’, remove the nails from the lamp. Set your lamp to low mode and cure for double the regular time. (60 sec LED )

STEP #3: FIRST LAYER • Apply the first thin layer of a Vision Gel Polish Colour of your choice and seal the free edge. • Cure 30 seconds LED , 2 minutes UV.

STEP #4: SECOND LAYER • Apply the second thin layer of Vision Gel Polish Colour of your choice and seal the free edge. • Cure 30 seconds LED , 2 minutes UV.

STEP #5 • Apply Vision Super Shine Top Coat or Vision Velvet Matte Top Coat and seal the free edge. • Cure 60 seconds LED , 2 minutes UV. • No need to wipe or cleanse after curing. All Vision Gel Top Coats are non-wipe.

GEL POLISH COLOUR REMOVAL

STEP #1: • Sanitize your own and your customer’s hands

STEP #2 : • File off the Top Coat with a 120/180 grit File.

STEP #3 : • Soak lint free wipes in plenty of 100% acetone and wrap in foil on each finger. Leave to soak for 10 to 15 minutes, times may vary depending on the products used, nail art, glitter and the number of layers. STEP #4 : • Start removing polish from one nail at a time, while keeping the rest wrapped in acetone. If taken out all at the same time, the gel will begin to reset and go hard. • Don’t force the gel off. If it is still hard, allow the gel to soak for longer. • Use a sharp Cuticle Pusher to remove any remaining soaked gel. • Make sure you support the customer’s natural nail tip with your finger while removing the gel to avoid bending or snapping the nail

STEP #5 : • If there is any Base Coat residue left, use a 100/180 grit buffer to gently buff it off. • If you are performing another gel application, any Vision Base Coat left on the nail plate needs to be only slightly buffed to avoid over buffing the natural nail, concentrating on areas around the cuticles. If not, massage cuticle oil into the cuticle and complete as a regular manicure.

NATURAL NAIL OVERLAY

STEP #1:• Sanitise your own and your customer’s hands. • Push back and trim excess cuticles. • File nails into shape using a fine 240 grit file. • Gently buff nails using a 100/180 grit buffer to remove any shine. • Dehydrate and cleanse the nail plate using 100% pure acetone. No prepared wipes or scrubfresh solutions.. They contain oils which may cause lifting.

STEP #2: FIRST LAYER • Apply a thin layer of our French Rubber Base /Bottled Builder over the natural nail making sure to keep the product off the skin (use a layer of Vision Gel Rubber Base if using Universal Bottled Builder .) • Cure 30 -60 seconds LED , 2 minutes UV. If the customer experiences a ‘heat spike’, remove the nails from the lamp. Set your lamp to low mode and cure for double the regular time.

STEP #3: SECOND LAYER • Apply a medium bead of Bottled Builder/French Rubber Base , spreading side to side and dragging away from the cuticle area. Avoid thick build-up around the free edge and the cuticle area. • Seal the free edge. • Build and cure one nail at a time, turn the hand over to help create apex if necessary. • Cure 30 -60 seconds LED , 2 minutes UV.

STEP #4: THIRD LAYER - • Repeat Step #3

STEP #5: REFINE - • Wipe with Isopropyl Alcohol. • Refine the nail using a 100/180 grit file. • Buff into shape using a 100/180 grit buffer, concentrating on reducing the product around the cuticle area and the free edge. • Remove any dust with a duster brush.

STEP #6: TOP COAT - • For a nude finish apply a layer of Super Shine Top Coat. No need to wipe or cleanse after curing. Our top coats are non-wipe. • If nails are to be finished with gel polish, follow the Gel Colour Application steps.

NAIL EXTENSIONS USING TIPS

STEP #1: NAIL PREP - •Sanitise your own and your customer’s hands. • Push back and trim excess cuticles. • File nails into shape using a fine 240 grit file. • Gently buff nails using a 100/180 grit buffer to remove any shine. • Dehydrate and cleanse the nail plate using 100% pure acetone. No prepared wipes or scrub-fresh solutions. They contain oils which may cause lifting.

STEP #2: APPLY TIPS - • Fit and apply tips to natural nails. Make sure there are no bubbles or spaces between the nails and tips when glued on. • Cut, file and buff tips into shape using a 120/180 grit file and 100/180 grit buffer. • Using 100% pure acetone, wipe the natural nails, avoiding the tips.

STEP #3: BASE LAYER - • Apply a thin layer of Vision Gel Bottled Builder/ French Rubber Base or a layer of our Rubber Base Coat and seal the free edge. • Cure 30 seconds LED , 2 minutes UV. If the customer experiences a ‘heat spike’, remove the nails from the lamp. Set your lamp to low mode and cure for double the regular time. (60 sec LED )

STEP #4: SECOND LAYER - • Apply a medium bead of Bottled Builder/French Rubber Base , spreading side to side and dragging away from the cuticle area. Avoid thick build-up around the free edge and the cuticle area. • Seal the free edge. • Build and cure one nail at a time, turn the hand over to help create apex if necessary. • Cure 30 seconds LED , 2 minutes UV.

STEP #5: THIRD LAYER - • Repeat Step #4

STEP #6: Remove the tacky layer with Isopropyl Alcohol. • Using a 120/180 grit file, refine the surface of the extended nail and shape to the desired nail shape. • Gently buff using a 100/180 grit buffer Step #7: Finish with Super Shine Top Coat. If nails are to be finished with a Vision Gel Polish Colour use the ‘Gel Colour Application’ steps.

SCULPTING WITH NAIL FORMS

STEP #1: NAIL PREP - •Sanitise your own and your customer’s hands. • Push back and trim excess cuticles. • File nails into shape using a fine 240 grit file. • Gently buff nails using a 100/180 grit buffer to remove any shine. • Dehydrate and cleanse the nail plate using 100% pure acetone. No prepared wipes or scrub-fresh solutions. They contain oils which may cause lifting.

STEP #2: FORMS • Apply Gold Touch Nail Forms to each nail. Make sure there are no gaps between the forms and nails.

STEP #3: BASE COAT - • Apply a thin layer of Bottled Builder/French Rubber Base or Rubber Base to the tip of the free edge on the natural nail and drag down over the form to create the extension base. • Cure 30 seconds LED , 2 minutes UV. If the customer experiences a ‘heat spike’, remove the nails from the lamp. Set your lamp to low mode and cure for double the regular time. (60 sec LED )

STEP #4: FIRST LAYER - • Apply a medium bead of Bottled Builder/French Rubber Base on the natural nail and spread side to side covering the nail plate and dragging towards the tip you have created. • Cure 30 seconds LED , 2 minutes UV. • Remove the nail forms.

STEP #5: SECOND LAYER - • Apply a medium bead of Bottled Builder/French Rubber Base, spreading side to side and dragging away from the cuticle area. Avoid thick build-up around the free edge and the cuticle area. • Seal the free edge. • Build and cure one nail at a time, turn the hand over to help create apex if necessary. • Cure 30 seconds LED , 2 minutes UV.

STEP #6: THIRD LAYER - • Apply a medium bead of Bottled Builder/French Rubber Base , spreading side to side and dragging away from the cuticle area. Avoid thick build-up around the free edge and the cuticle area. • Seal the free edge. • Build and cure one nail at a time, turn the hand over to help create apex if necessary. • Cure 30 seconds LED , 2 minutes UV.

STEP #7 • Using a 120/180 grit file, refine the surface of the extended nail and shape to the desired nail shape. • Gently buff using a 100/180 grit buffer STEP #8 : TOP COAT - • For fully nude extensions, finish with a layer of Super Shine Top Coat. •Cure 30 seconds LED , 2 minutes UV. • No need to wipe or cleanse after curing. All our top coats are non-wipe. • If extensions are to be finished with a Vision Gel Polish Colour use the Gel Colour Application’steps

NAIL FILL/REBALANCE

STEP #1: TOP COAT & COLOUR REMOVAL • Sanitise your own and your customer’s hands. • Either using an E-file (if you are E-File trained) or a 120/180 grit file, file off the Top Coat and then the Vision Gel Polish Colour to expose the Bottled Builder/French Rubber Base and level out the growth area. • Remove any dust and wipe with Isopropyl Alcohol.

STEP #2: NAIL PREP - • Push back and trim excess cuticles. • Make sure that any lifting Builder has been removed using a 120/180 grit file. • Using a 120/180 grit file, smooth over the surface of the remaining Builder and reduce the length if required. • Dehydrate and cleanse the regrowth area of the natural nail with 100% pure acetone. No prepared wipes or scrub-fresh solutions. They contain oils which may cause lifting. STEP #3: FIRST LAYER - • Apply a medium/thick layer of Builder. Spread it around in circular motions and drag away from the cuticle area. Avoid thick build up around the free edge of the cuticle area. Turn the hand upside down to create apex, if necessary. • Seal the free edge. • Build and cure one nail at the time. • Cure 30 seconds LED , 2 minutes UV. If the customer experiences a ‘heat spike’, remove the nails from the lamp. Set your lamp to low mode and cure for double the regular time. (60 sec LED )

STEP #4: SHAPE - • Wipe nail with pure Isopropyl Alcohol. • Refine using a 120/180 grit file, concentrating on reducing the product around the cuticle area and the free edge to create a smooth surface. • Gently buff using a 100/180 buffer.

STEP #5: TOP COAT -• For a nude finish apply a layer of Super Shine Top Coat. • • No need to wipe or cleanse after curing. All our top coats are non-wipe. • If nails are to be finished with a Vision Gel Polish Colour use the Gel Colour Application steps.

NAIL EXTENSIONS REMOVAL

STEP #1: PREP - • Sanitize your own and your customer’s hands.

STEP #2: LENGTH - • Using an E-File (if you are E-File trained) or with a 120/180 grit file reduce the length of the extension.

STEP #3: TOP COAT REMOVAL - • File off the Top Coat and the bulk of the builder

STEP #4: SOAK OFF - • Soak lint free wipes in plenty of 100% acetone and wrap in foil on each finger. Leave to soak for 10 to 15 minutes,

STEP #5: REMOVAL - • Start removing one nail at a time, while keeping the rest in acetone. If taken out all at the same time the gel will begin to reset and go hard. • Don’t force the gel off, if it is still hard, allow the gel to soak for longer. • Use a sharp cuticle pusher to remove any remaining soaked gel. • Make sure you support the customer’s natural nail tip with your finger while removing the gel to avoid bending or snapping the nail. • Repeat this process until all product has been soaked off.

STEP #6: BUFF AND SHAPE - • Lightly buff using a 100/180 grit buffer and file nails into shape using a 220/240 grit file.

VISION ULTRA HG

VISION ULTRA HG NATURAL NAIL OVERLAY

STEP #1:• Sanitise your own and your customer’s hands. • Push back and trim excess cuticles. • File nails into shape using a fine 240 grit file. • Gently buff nails using a 100/180 grit buffer to remove any shine. • Dehydrate and cleanse the nail plate using 100% pure acetone or 70% isopropyl alcohol. No prepared wipes or scrub-fresh solutions.. They contain oils which may cause lifting.

STEP #2: FIRST LAYER • Apply a thin layer of our “BASE” over the natural nail making sure to keep the product off the skin • Cure 90 seconds LED , 180 seconds UV.

STEP #3: SECOND LAYER • Apply a medium bead of any of our Ultra HG builders to the free edge and the cuticle area. • Seal the free edge. • Build and cure one nail at a time, turn the hand over to help create apex if necessary. • Cure 90 seconds LED , 180 seconds UV.

STEP #4: REFINE - • Wipe with Isopropyl Alcohol. • Refine the nail using a 100/180 grit file. • Buff into shape using a 100/180 grit buffer, concentrating on reducing the product around the cuticle area and the free edge. • Remove any dust with a duster brush.

STEP #5: TOP COAT - • To finish apply a layer of SHINE ON Top Coat. No need to wipe or cleanse after curing. Our top coats are non-wipe. • If nails are to be finished with gel polish, follow the Gel Colour Application steps.

VISION ULTRA HG - REMOVAL

Vision Ultra HG is a hard gel and must be removed by filing or growing off. It is not a soak off gel.
